Yardzen

Yard design and build guidance for homeowners

Yardzen helps homeowners design and build outdoor spaces, staying involved from the first design through construction. Each client works with a dedicated representative who talks through cost and design tradeoffs, introduces several vetted local contractors, explains their estimates and helps choose one, so the project ends in a finished yard and not just a plan. Since launching in 2018 Yardzen has worked with tens of thousands of homeowners, using AI and data to simplify design and make building less daunting. Its American Firewise Project helps homeowners in fire-prone areas create yards that are both attractive and defensible. The company has been named one of Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies and one of Inc.'s Best Places to Work.
