XBOW

Autonomous AI penetration testing

XBOW builds an autonomous penetration tester powered by AI. Human pentesters remain the standard for securing software, but demand far outstrips their numbers as more software is written by people without security training and attackers adopt AI themselves. XBOW works as an expert would: it devises creative attacks, learns from each attempt and keeps probing to find vulnerabilities faster than manual testing can. Beyond simulated attacks, it discovers real-world vulnerabilities and discloses them responsibly so organizations can patch before they are exploited, placing it inside the secure development lifecycle. Its team includes the people who created GitHub Copilot and GitHub Advanced Security.
