Trellis AI

AI agents for patient access to specialty therapies

Trellis builds AI agents that remove the paperwork standing between patients and the treatments they have been prescribed. Its platform handles document intake, prior authorizations, appeals, reimbursement research and coverage determinations, the administrative steps that routinely delay care. The agents improve as they run and now process billions of dollars in therapies each year, supporting patients in all 50 US states. Customers are healthcare organizations in specialty markets that want to cut administrative load and get patients onto treatment sooner. The company began in the Stanford AI Lab and pairs machine learning work with healthcare operations expertise, and it has expanded quickly across specialty care over the past year.
