Agentic engineering tool for infrastructure design
Torus makes an agentic engineering tool that lets firms designing physical infrastructure work far faster, cutting design work that once took six weeks down to hours. It already works with several Fortune 500 companies and major EPC contractors on critical projects such as data centers and energy installations. The founders started the company in May 2026 on the view that AI can now handle the structured, geometry-heavy engineering at the heart of reindustrialization. CEO Marcus Lima previously founded Heimdal, a direct air carbon capture company, and CTO Rahul Thayil previously founded Orion, which automated AI threat intelligence and response.
