Text snippet and workflow automation tool
blaze.today (opens in a new tab)Text Blaze is a writing assistant built around reusable text snippets: users store blocks of text and drop them into any web page with a keyboard shortcut. Snippets can go much further, acting as small apps that walk a person through a workflow and handle its repetitive steps automatically. Close to a million people use it, at organisations ranging from small businesses to enterprises such as Block, HubSpot, Redfin and Mercado Libre, and it holds the top spot among writing assistants in the Chrome Web Store. Scott and Dan worked together at Google on AI-focused tools for sales and support teams; the product grew out of Scott's side project and the observation that software never fits every team, leaving people to fill the gaps with low-value work. The small, profitable company is remote-first, with an office in Palo Alto.
