squads.xyz (opens in a new tab)Squads is the company behind Squads Multisig, which secures more than $15 billion of assets on Solana, and it is building Altitude, a business banking product that runs on stablecoins instead of traditional payment rails. A company with an Altitude account gets cards, invoicing, yield, cross-border payments and global accounts in one place, and the platform works identically in Singapore and Germany with no local rebuild. The reasoning: fintech used to treat rails such as ACH and SWIFT as fixed, so products could only improve the interface on top. Stablecoins, whose circulation has passed $300 billion and which businesses already use for cross-border settlement, contractor pay and treasury, let the rails themselves change, and Altitude is built for that opening.
