Student transportation technology

Zum manages and operates school district transportation systems using technology, working across more than 15 states with flagship hubs in San Francisco, Los Angeles and Seattle while extending into the East Coast and Midwest. Alongside district contracts it has launched its own charter platform and develops proprietary SaaS offerings. It is also leading a nationwide effort to electrify school bus fleets, which additionally lets those buses feed energy back to local utilities — school routes suit electrification unusually well, being short, predictable and idle for most of the day.
