Its software and product design give justice-system leaders data to base decisions on, and that work has helped hundreds of thousands of people leave the system safely and equitably. More than 19 states, large and small, red and blue, are paying partners, together covering over 45% of the country's incarcerated population, and major philanthropists and foundations also fund the organisation. Its engineers, designers, product managers and domain experts previously worked at Google, Apple, Dropbox, Opower and Sidewalk Labs.
