Rainforest

Embedded payments for vertical software

Rainforest is a payments-as-a-service company making it straightforward for vertically focused software platforms to monetise payments. It targets small and mid-sized platforms wanting to add embedded payments for their small business customers without taking on the operational and regulatory burden that normally accompanies becoming a payments company — which is what stops most of them, since the revenue is attractive and the compliance exposure is not. The company is led by a repeat fintech founder with deep industry knowledge and has venture backing from a top-tier firm.
