Propel

Technology for government benefits delivery

Propel builds consumer software for Americans receiving government benefits — managing SNAP, choosing a D-SNP plan, guarding against EBT theft — on the argument that the safety net's strength depends on delivery as much as on funding. Managing benefits should feel like Apple Pay or Netflix, but governments rarely build modern, scalable consumer experiences, and that gap falls hardest on the people least able to absorb it. Over five million Americans use Propel, revenue has grown 35% year over year, and the company is reinventing entire benefit categories, including Medicare, around what low-income users actually need.
