Primer

Network of K–8 schools

Primer is a growing network of K–8 schools working to restore the foundations of American education. It takes its name from the original teaching primers that shaped a nation of readers, thinkers and builders, and its approach follows that: begin with what has always worked, then build for what comes next. The culture takes children seriously as learners and leaders rather than as recipients of instruction.
