The problem it targets is American healthcare, where premiums climb roughly 15% annually, doctors face burnout and patient trust has eroded. Insurance was designed to cover catastrophic events, on the assumption that no one can predict who will get sick, which leaves it poorly suited to new treatments such as immunotherapy and synthetic proteins. Prescience wants Americans to buy health outcomes from it in place of insurance. Employers, patients and providers are already joining organically, and each new member strengthens the network. Brothers Rishab and Aditya Jain founded the company.
