Poolside is working toward artificial intelligence that reaches and exceeds human-level capability by combining learning and search. Its thesis is that only a small number of companies will achieve this, and that their ability to stack advantages will determine which survive: those companies move faster than anyone else, attract the most capable talent, operate at the frontier of applied research and engineering at scale, build powerful economic engines, and continue scaling training to larger and more capable models. The company is organised around being one of them.
