The goal it states plainly is to fund the creative class, replacing advertising and platform algorithms with a direct paying relationship between a creator and the people who value what they make. Creators have earned over ten billion dollars through it since inception. The platform now carries more than 25 million paid memberships alongside over 100 million free ones, which gives creators a large audience of people not yet paying but already connected.
