Common protocol linking industrial systems and AI
More than 10,000 vehicles already run on IOI, the Internet of Industrials, a protocol Oway is building so that factories, fleets, warehouses and robots can share their physical state and capabilities with software, AI agents and each other. Oway treats logistics as the base vocabulary of industry: location, destination, capacity, time, cost and constraints describe almost any physical business. IOI pulls those facts out of ERPs, transport and warehouse systems, sensors and vehicles into one permissioned layer that can be searched and acted on, with each node owned by its customer and private by default. Two applications prove it out: Juno, an agent that prices and executes work autonomously, and Oway Rideshare, which puts freight on trucks already heading the right way. Fortune 500 firms and national logistics networks are connecting to it.
