Orbem

AI-powered industrial MRI

Orbem uses AI to industrialise MRI, taking a technology built for hospital use and making it fast and cheap enough to scan things continuously, from fruit and eggs through to the human body. Scanning at that volume produces what is becoming one of the largest biological datasets in existence, and the company turns it into decisions that cut waste and raise quality in the industries it serves. Non-invasive imaging matters here because the alternative to knowing what is inside something is usually destroying it. Founded and headquartered in Munich, the company now also has an office in Houston, Texas.
