Ophelia

Telehealth treatment for opioid use disorder

Ophelia treats opioid use disorder through telehealth, prescribing FDA-approved medication and delivering clinical care online so patients can get evidence-based treatment privately, conveniently and at an affordable price. It has been operating for nearly six years and serves patients in 14 states. The team includes physicians, scientists, researchers, entrepreneurs and former White House advisors. Ophelia builds much of its own technology, including a custom electronic medical record for its clinicians, a patient portal, and billing and clinical data services, and it is working toward profitability while exploring B2B and peer-led growth, new clinical services and AI tools for clinicians and care coordinators.
