Odyssey is an AI lab building general world models: causal, multimodal systems that learn to predict and interact with the world over long horizons, with implications across robotics, science, healthcare, education, gaming and defense. Its founders previously worked on self-driving cars, the most demanding deployed application of physical AI. The research team is drawn from DeepMind, Tesla, Waymo, Meta, Apple and Wayve, and has contributed to language models at DeepMind, video models including Veo, world models such as Wayve's GAIA, and Tesla's autonomous driving systems.
