Phased array ground stations for satellites

Northwood Space is building a global network of phased array ground stations — the terrestrial half of satellite communication, which has quietly become the bottleneck as the number of satellites in orbit has grown far faster than the capacity to talk to them. Its stations enable real-time, reliable links for national security, global connectivity and disaster response missions. The company is vertically integrated, designing, building and rapidly deploying scalable systems itself rather than assembling them, on the view that bringing the benefits of space to more people is a ground-segment problem.
