Automating patient access to medications

Neon Health automates patient access workflows for pharmaceutical companies, handling prior authorisations, benefits verification and financial assistance so that prescriptions actually reach patients. More than half of critical prescriptions are abandoned, and the causes are procedural rather than clinical: patients facing high copays are five times more likely to abandon treatment, complex prior authorisations block access outright, and coordinating the necessary medical visits defeats people who are already unwell. Automating those steps removes obstacles at the point where delay does the most harm.
