Monk

Accounts receivable platform

Monk rebuilds accounts receivable, where finance teams still chase payments and reconcile balances in spreadsheets using software designed a decade ago. Trillions of dollars sit in outstanding invoices while the tools meant to release that cashflow have barely moved. The company already handles over a billion dollars of receivables. The problem resists general-purpose models because the workflow demands many integrations and the last mile of collections is bespoke to each business, which is also why no clear winner has emerged in a category this large. The work is unglamorous and genuinely difficult, which is the case for doing it properly.
