Meter

Full-stack enterprise networking

Meter builds and operates enterprise networks end to end, designing its own hardware, software and deployment operations rather than assembling equipment from other vendors. Enterprise networking has stayed brittle, complex and surprisingly hard to set up for decades, largely because responsibility is divided across those three layers and no one owns the outcome. Bridgewater, Lyft and Reddit rely on Meter to keep thousands of employees and locations online. The underlying bet is that internet use keeps growing and businesses will expect networks to behave like a utility.
