AI back-office agents for freight brokers
lighthouz.ai (opens in a new tab)Lighthouz AI automates the back office of freight brokerages, part of a $900 billion industry where email, PDFs and spreadsheets still do most of the work. Its agents check carrier bills, bill shippers, manage receivables and chase payments on both full-truckload and less-than-truckload loads. Brokers using it clear 70 to 85% of carrier bill audits with no human involvement, and collections follow each brokerage's own procedures in priority order, reducing days-sales-outstanding and back-office spending. Nothing has to be ripped out: the agents connect to transportation management systems including McLeod, Turvo, TAI and 3PL Systems and to accounting tools such as QuickBooks, NetSuite and Sage Intacct. The point is to let a brokerage take on more revenue without hiring in step. Lighthouz is SOC 2 Type II compliant and received TIA Technovator Awards in 2025 and 2026.
