LemFi is building a financial platform for immigrants and the Global South, beginning with fast, affordable remittances and expanding into multi-currency accounts, payments, credit and longer-term wealth building. The premise is that moving countries should not mean starting financially from zero — people working hardest for their families abroad routinely face predatory fees and outright banking exclusion. With millions of users worldwide, LemFi processes more than $1 billion in monthly transactions to over 30 countries, supported by a team of 400 people spanning more than 20 countries.
