AI-native psychiatric care provider

Legion Health is working toward autonomous medical care, an AI doctor, and has started with psychiatry, where it treats patients itself. Its care platform handles about 95% of the administrative work behind each visit. Legion was also the first company authorized by regulators to have AI prescribe psychiatric medication, so it can cut the cost of clinical labor, not only overhead. Physicians still supervise the AI, and the company runs every part of care, including for patients with complicated needs. Over two years it has delivered tens of thousands of visits with operating costs held flat, alongside strong patient satisfaction and retention. The aim is fast, affordable care built as a new system rather than a more efficient version of the current one.
