Lanesurf

AI agents that book truckload freight

Lanesurf uses AI agents to book truck freight. More than a million loads move by truck in the U.S. every day, and most are still arranged through long rounds of phone calls and emails. Lanesurf's agents locate empty trucks near a shipment, contact many carriers at once by phone and email, negotiate rates and secure the best-priced option, turning that back-and-forth into minutes. It is live with several large U.S. logistics companies that move goods for shippers including Nestlé, PepsiCo, Celsius and Monster Energy, and it is working toward 10,000 loads a day. The team has built enterprise AI systems for Fortune 500 clients at Booz & Co. and contributed to machine learning research with Caltech, Rice, Waterloo and Monash.
