Kabam

Mobile game developer

Kabam develops mobile games, including the long-running Marvel Contest of Champions, from its studio in downtown Vancouver. Sustaining a live mobile game over years is a distinct discipline from shipping one — the product keeps changing while millions of people play it, which is why the studio model is built around continuous operation rather than release cycles. The company hires for passion and diversity so that collective skill compounds, and its teams combine varied personalities and interests around a collaborative, fun-loving culture and a shared drive to make great games.
