Humanoid robots for industry

Humanoid is building humanoid robots designed to be capable, safe and, critically, commercially scalable, which is the constraint that separates a research platform from a product. Its first system, HMND-01 Alpha, was developed rapidly and is already running in real industrial pilots rather than laboratory demonstrations. The company's premise is that robots should amplify what people can do rather than substitute for them. It is based in the United Kingdom, and the team brings together engineers, researchers and product specialists working on AI and robotics together rather than in sequence.
