Heron Data

AI underwriting automation for lenders

Heron Data uses AI and language models to remove the underwriting tax on small businesses, helping them reach financial services faster. Its software reads emails, analyses attachments and takes actions such as updating CRMs or requesting further information, executing workflows end to end rather than assisting a human through them. Its largest product automates underwriting for small business lenders and specialty finance companies, replacing manual processes so those firms can operate with greater speed, precision and fairness — the fairness following from consistency rather than good intentions.
