Hammr

Payroll and HR software for construction

Hammr makes payroll and HR software built specifically for construction, a $2.2T industry in the US that still runs largely on payroll systems decades old. General tools such as ADP and Paychex struggle with the parts of construction payroll that matter most, including prevailing wage and certified payroll, and Hammr is designed around those requirements. Contractors who have moved over from ADP, Paychex or QuickBooks have cut payroll operations work by up to 90%, stopped depending on spreadsheets and replaced tools that never fit together, and they tend to stay and expand their use. The company routinely beats far larger incumbents head to head. Its founders created Bred To Build, a widely followed construction podcast, and one was Superhuman's sixth engineer.
