Garage

Marketplace for fire department vehicles and equipment

Garage operates a marketplace for the critical assets that America's essential industries run on, beginning with the vehicles and equipment fire departments buy. Its agentic platform carries a purchase from start to finish, handling discovery, payment, freight, paperwork, warranty and financing, so a process that once dragged on for months now takes minutes. Its customers are municipalities in every one of the 50 states, and revenue has grown more than tenfold in under a year. The New York-based team includes people from Ramp, Twitter, Goldman Sachs, Wise and PayPal, and it prefers to solve 80 percent of a problem in 20 percent of the time, then iterate.
