Forage

EBT payments infrastructure for grocers

Forage builds payments infrastructure that lets grocers, delivery platforms and point-of-sale systems accept EBT, both at online checkout and at the register in physical stores. The goal is commerce that does not shut out people paying with public benefits: Forage already helps tens of thousands of families buy food each day and aims to widen grocery access for millions more. In-store payments are a growing line of business alongside online. The company is headquartered in San Francisco and also has an office in New York.
