Ethyca

Automated data privacy infrastructure

Ethyca builds automated data privacy and AI governance infrastructure that embeds governance directly into data, so that policy, consent and control travel wherever the data moves rather than being enforced separately at each system boundary. The company frames this as a missing piece of internet infrastructure — an operating system for governance that lets both users and businesses handle data respectfully. It addresses the usual failure mode of privacy programmes, where controls hold at the point of collection and erode everywhere downstream. Ethyca is headquartered in midtown Manhattan with a distributed team across the US.
