Collective

Back office for businesses-of-one

Collective builds the back office for businesses-of-one. Its technology and team of advisers handle what a self-employed person needs to run a company properly — incorporation, bookkeeping, accounting and tax — in one integrated platform, alongside a community of others doing the same thing. The premise is that solo operators are entitled to the same tax treatment large companies structure for themselves, but rarely have the time or the specialist help to claim it. The point is to let people focus on the work they set out to do rather than the paperwork around it.
