Public procurement marketplace for agencies and suppliers
civicmarketplace.com (opens in a new tab)Civic Marketplace is a procurement platform that connects US public-sector buyers with the companies that supply them. Cities, counties and school districts spend more than two trillion dollars a year on everything from road building to software and cleaning contracts, yet most of that purchasing still runs on paper, moves slowly and offers little visibility. On the platform, agencies look for suppliers, compare them and start working with them, while businesses, including small ones with no in-house bid specialists, can locate public contracts and compete for them. Cities and agencies already use it to manage projects, find vendors and tap cooperative purchasing, and the company is now adding AI to its marketplace to change how procurement is done. The small team works across both sides of the Atlantic.
