Chariot

Payments infrastructure for charitable giving

Chariot is a fintech company modernising the technology behind charitable giving in the US, a market of roughly $600B a year that still runs on infrastructure designed generations ago. Payment volume through the platform is running at more than $1.8B a year on behalf of tens of thousands of nonprofits, including the American Cancer Society, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and the University of Pennsylvania, whose work covers homelessness, health, education, the environment and more. The team works from its New York office Monday to Thursday and remotely on Fridays, and keeps a public handbook on how it operates.
