Payment volume through the platform is running at more than $1.8B a year on behalf of tens of thousands of nonprofits, including the American Cancer Society, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and the University of Pennsylvania, whose work covers homelessness, health, education, the environment and more. The team works from its New York office Monday to Thursday and remotely on Fridays, and keeps a public handbook on how it operates.
