CFGI

Finance and strategy consulting for PE

CFGI is a consulting firm working with private equity sponsors and the companies in their portfolios. Its pricing practice runs diagnostics on where margin is being lost: price realisation analysis, willingness-to-pay research, price-volume elasticity modelling and audits of discount and rebate leakage. From there it designs pricing architecture, covering segmentation, price bands, list-to-pocket waterfalls, value-based models and trade promotion optimisation. The work is delivered into live engagements alongside portfolio company commercial and finance leadership, with EBITDA impact tracked as the measure. The firm packages that methodology as a repeatable offering it takes to sponsors directly.
