Astranis has five satellites in orbit, more scheduled to launch, and a backlog of over $1 billion in commercial contracts. It runs design, manufacturing and operations from a 153,000-square-foot headquarters in Northern California with a team of about 450 engineers and entrepreneurs. Its longer-term ambition is to extend human reach further into the solar system.
