Astraea automates that biometrics stage: its software carries study data through SDTM and ADaM datasets to the tables, figures, listings and submission outputs that reviewers check, keeping each step traceable and scientists in charge. The founders heard the same complaint again and again from people they knew in pharma before starting the company. CEO Joshua Wang, who read computer science and mathematics at Stanford, previously built AI systems for enterprises; CTO Sanmay Sarada, also a Stanford alum, built clinical data infrastructure for Baylor College of Medicine. Astraea is based in San Francisco.
