AI for custom chip design

Architect Labs is a frontier AI lab for chip design, building models and tools for producing custom ASICs on demand and at scale. Its goal is co-designing chips alongside evolving machine learning workloads, enabling domain-specific silicon that unlocks capabilities current hardware cannot reach — the underlying problem being that ASIC design cycles run years while model architectures change in months. Born out of Stanford research, the founding team blends AI and silicon expertise from Anthropic, Google DeepMind, Meta, xAI, Apple and Intel.
