arcade.ai (opens in a new tab)Arcade is building an AI physical product creation platform where anyone can design, purchase and sell custom manufacturable goods using natural language and generative AI. The company's position is that everyone should be able to create physical products as easily as they post online, which requires infrastructure connecting a generated design to a manufacturer who can actually produce it — the part that separates this from image generation, and the reason the category has not existed before. It has raised $42 million from a group of investors including Reid Hoffman and Forerunner Ventures.
