Deployable nuclear microreactors

Antares builds mass-producible, inherently safe, deployable nuclear microreactors intended for use on land, underwater and in space. Its long-term mission is making clean energy abundant from Earth to the Asteroid Belt, on the belief that advanced nuclear can strengthen defence capability, address climate change, raise global living standards and extend human presence beyond Earth. Mass-producibility is the load-bearing idea — nuclear has historically been bespoke and therefore slow. The team is drawn from SpaceX, the White House, the Pentagon, the Department of Energy, MIT and national laboratories including Idaho, Oak Ridge and Los Alamos.
