Anchorage Digital is a crypto platform enabling institutions to hold and use digital assets through custody, staking, trading, governance and settlement, built on security infrastructure the sector treats as its benchmark. It is home to Anchorage Digital Bank, the first federally chartered crypto bank in the United States — a charter that matters because many institutional allocators cannot hold assets with an unregulated custodian at all. Founded in 2017 in San Francisco, the company also operates through Anchorage Digital Singapore and Porto, with offices in New York, Portugal, Singapore and Sioux Falls.
