Unified payments and financial platform for global businesses
Airwallex builds a unified payments and financial platform for businesses operating across borders. It combines proprietary payments infrastructure with software, so a company can run business accounts, payments, spend management, treasury and embedded finance through one system rather than stitching together a different provider in every market. More than 250,000 businesses use it, including Brex, Navan, Qantas and SHEIN. Founded in Melbourne, the company now has over 2,300 people across 27 offices worldwide — a shape that follows from the problem itself, since global payments require a local presence in a great many places at once.
