Training data for foundation models
AfterQuery is an applied research lab that curates data for foundation model development, serving frontier AI labs directly. Its work sits inside the loop by which those systems improve, which makes the quality of the data it assembles a constraint on the models themselves. The wider aim is to make expertise that once took a lifetime to build available to anyone who needs it, by encoding it into the data that trains general systems. The company is based in San Francisco and has grown past a $100M revenue run rate.
