Accend

AI infrastructure for commercial credit underwriting

Accend is building an AI-enabled equivalent of Moody's Analytics: an infrastructure layer for underwriting commercial credit. Banks, fintechs and credit unions still assess business borrowers by spreading financial statements by hand, juggling fragmented Excel models, chasing documents back and forth and writing credit memos that differ from one analyst to the next. Accend replaces that process with structured workflows driven by AI. It works with both high-growth fintechs and established banks, and counts Brex, Rippling and Corpay among its customers.
